SEED’s Human Resource Policy is guided by the principles of fairness, transparency and accountability. It applies to all employees and governing board members, ensuring a harmonious, ethical and goal-oriented workplace culture

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: A structured process involving clear requisition, internal and external search, transparent selection and orientation of new staff members.
  • Performance & Growth: Regular performance appraisals tied to increments, promotions, and professional development through in-service and induction training.
  • Leave & Benefits: Clearly defined casual, sick, annual and special leaves, as well as office loan provisions, medical insurance support and salary disbursement protocols.
  • Organizational Development: Focus on leadership, motivation, conflict resolution and team-building through periodic training and strategic planning.
  • Travel & Consultancy: Reimbursement policies for official travel and provisions for internal and external consultancy with fair recognition of employee contributions.
  • Workplace Conduct: Strict prohibition of tobacco use and maintenance of discipline, registers and documentation at all units and offices.
  • Policy Governance: All policy changes are reviewed and approved by the Governing Board and communicated organization-wide.
