Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH)

SEED is deeply committed to fostering a work environment that is safe, respectful and inclusive for all. Our POSH policy is a key pillar of our organizational values, ensuring that every employee, intern or volunteer feels secure and empowered.

Key Commitments:

  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: SEED strictly prohibits any form of sexual harassment at the workplace, whether in office premises, field locations or during travel and virtual interactions.
  • Clear Reporting Mechanisms: All team members are informed of their rights and the steps to report misconduct. Our Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is trained, accessible and impartial in addressing complaints promptly and sensitively.
  • Confidentiality & Fairness: Every case is handled with full confidentiality and fairness, ensuring protection from retaliation and victim-blaming.
  • Awareness & Training: SEED regularly conducts orientation and refresher sessions for all staff and volunteers on workplace conduct, gender sensitivity and POSH protocols — cultivating a culture of respect and dignity.
